BE THE COLOR

AUGUST 6–15, 2021

We wanted to create this show to shed light on social issues that we feel passionately about. Each exhibit expressed social issues that have affected us in our lifetime. The exhibit allowed Be the Color the chance to create a floral installation in an unprecedented fashion. We took color away from the viewer in the first half of the show allowing preconceived notions to build. Then we provided them with a tool to see the true colors. This completely changed the viewers’ perceptions of the displays. This is how conversations are started.
