Why do you want to be part of BTC?

Flowers have been such a huge part of my life and give me so much JOY!

Bringing social issues to the forefront, encouraging people to look at these issues and the people that they represent in a more thoughtful way is such an important thing. We are ALL connected... we can all be more informed, kinder, and gentler.... Flowers can help!

What area of expertise do you plan on contributing to BTC?

Floral design is my artistic outlet. Also, my planning and organizing skills, but a big part, and I think probably the most important thing I bring to the table is my empathy and compassion towards our fellow man.

What social issue are you interested in addressing?

Mental health, anxiety, depression, postpartum, suicide.

At-risk youth, helping them find their path and purpose.

The LGBTQ+ community.

The cycle of child abuse and neglect.

How many years have you been in your career?

I have owned my business for the past 25 years.

How many years have you been part of social services?

I have dedicated myself to the community for the past 35 years. Raising awareness, financial contributions and community involvement have been a passion.

How do you see BTC making a change on social issues?

Shedding light, raising awareness, tackling difficult subjects, and making them more human and less taboo.
